12115 Posts Vacant in Maharashtra police force from Constable to Additional Director General of Police

What is the reason over Maharashtra Police always working in STRESS !!!!!!!! Anil Galgali with his RTI brought some vital information and facts of the Maharashtra Police, which  is very much under staffed and 12115 posts are lying vacant as on today. This crucial information came into light by Anil Galgali who sought information through RTI, the highest number of 2708 vacant positions are of Police Sub Inspector as on today .

RTI activist Anil Galgali sought information by filing RTI to DGP of Maharashtra State Police Force headquarters and had sought information about the Total number of employees with there Sanction post and Vacant Post. Public Information Officer P.K.Ghuge informed Anil Galgali that there are total 2,19,986 post in Maharashtra Police Department out of which 2,07,871 posts are filled There are a total of 12,115 posts lying  vacant

At present the police department is working with the 6951 Police Sub Inspector where as actually  required number is 9659, 2708 posts of Police Sub Inspectors are lying vacant. Additional DG 3 out of  25 are vacant where as 8 out of 47 of Special Inspector General of Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police 5 out of 36, Deputy Inspector General of Police (technical) 2 of 2, Superintendent of Police / Deputy Commissioner of Police posts are vacant 30 out of 265.The Deputy Superintendent of Police / Assistant Commissioner of Police (unarmed) 209 out of 686, 50 out of 87 for Armed Police Deputy Superintendent, Police Sub Inspector 2708 of  9659 , 471 out of  4447 Assistant Police Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector of police 1030 out of 18804, Police Constable 2323 out of 42964, Constable 4101 out of 96240, the above posts are lying vacant.

Police sub-inspector of motor transport of marine Second Class and First Class Master Engine Driver is running only 11 out of 270 posts. Police sub-inspector of motor transport of 54 out of 109 posts are vacant.

Anil Galgali wrote a letter to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to fill vacant posts Immediately to relive thre Police force from undue STRESS!!! ​In fact many a time they are working in an inhuman condition with the amount of pressure and stress they go through, said Galgali.

# No recruitment by Religion

RTI activist Anil Galgali sought information by filing RTI to DGP of Maharashtra State Police Force headquarters and had sought information about Total number of Hindu, Shikh, Christian and Muslim Officers in Maharashtra Police. Public Information Officer P.K.Ghuge informed Anil Galgali that the recruitment of staff not categories in there Religion. Appointment made by cast categories which was decided by Government So there is any information regarding Religion wise staff numbers on there office Desk.
