Due to lack of bed management under the Mumbai Municipal Corporation, people have to wait for hours in ambulances or other places to be admitted to the hospital. For this, RTI activist Anil Galgali has demanded to Chief Minister Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray in a letter to provide information on the availability of beds in Covid Hospital.
A letter address to the Chief Minister Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray and Bmc Commissioner Praveen Pardeshi, RTI Activist Anil Galgali said that today a large number of covid patients are being found in Mumbai. In such a situation, patients need help. At present, there is not a single authority which can give details of the current status of the hospital with the availability of beds on one click. Despite the increase in patients in Mumbai, the government sent administrative officers to the headquarters of Mumbai Municipal Corporation, but the patients are not getting reduced. Overall, the common man is facing difficulties and suffer due to not getting information about Covid or other private hospitals, said Galgali.
