Government Accommodation illegally Occupier appointed on State Police Complaint Authority by Home Department

Yet Under the direct control of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Where it was expected that Home Ministry would see more of a clear and transparent picture, a new case has left everybody in the lurch. CM has appointed ex-ADG Premkishan Jain (P K Jain) in the crucial State Police Complaint Authority (SPCA). Yes, the same man who is responsible for not paying Rupees 12 lakhs outstanding towards Government and sticking to Government Accommodation after being retired in February 2014. Its revels in a query filed by RTI activist Anil Galgali. On top of this ,P K Jain has gone one step ahead and asked for a new accomodation in lieu of his new posting, which apparently has been turned down by the government.  RTI Activist Anil Galgali had earlier asked the Government to provide him the copy of the notice served to vacate the government residence along with the outstanding amount to be paid by the Ex ADG PK Jain via RTI. The General Administration Department (GAD) in their reply to the RTI provided all the necessary details indicating that PK Jain was allocated Yashodhan 31 at Churchgate, as his government accommodation. In 28 February 2014, Jain retired from the civil services, but till today he continues to occupy the accommodation unlawfully. Executive Engineer of the PWD under the Presidency Division slapped a notice to cough up Rs. 11,50,812 rupees on 7th March 2015. Also the notice said to vacate the premises on or before 7 days of receipt of the notice. Being this such a crucial case, State Government went ahead and appointed this tainted cop in the State Police Complaint Authority (SPCA) on 25th May 2015. This has raised quite a few eyebrows, looking at the image CM carries. In fact PK Jain went a step ahead and on his new appointed in the month of 28 May wrote to his senior asking for another accommodation this time specifying his requirement, which was turned down by Additional Chief Secretary. Also after turning down, the senior has asked Jain to vacate the current residence on 12 June 2015. "Home and the General Administration Department, both very crucial departments are headed by our CM. Before taking a call on appointment of anybody at any crucial level, his background should be cross verified, said Galgali. It will save the Government from the embarrassment. I am disappointed that instead of punishing the guilty, Government is going ahead and awarding them with more plum postings! This is not what we expected, when promised us of acche din" concludes Galgali.  # Defaulters Enjoying Prominent among those who have defaulted on payment to the state government are - Additional Director General K L Bishnoi who owes Rs 6,43,451, Deputy Secretary in General Administration Department Venkatesh Bhat (Rs 4,88,071), r Retired IPS officer Y P Singh (Rs 8,01,448), Ex-Transport Commissioner (retd) Dilip Jadhav (Rs 6,40,585), Retired Additional DG PK Jain, now a member of RPI(A), (Rs 5,59,624) and retired CIDCO Managing Director V M Lal (Rs 3,08,972),Besides,Retired Mumbai DCP Prakash Pawar owes Rs 2,07,982, retired ACP Crime Branch Prakash Wani - Rs 1,97,756 and then serving Deputy Secretary Law and Judiciary B J Tarale owes Rs 1,22,865 to the State Government. Anil Galgali said as per the RTI details provided to him last year.
