Salman Khan move freely, Thanks to PWD

Salman Khan received an express interim bail and then a proper bail,  which has enabled him to move freely in the hit and run case. The state govt also deserves a credit for the grant of the express bail, which was warranted due to a power supply cut in the Session Court premises. This happened as the PWD dept which was supposed to create a back up power supply in case of an failure, failed to  provide the back up.  This shocking information was provided to RTI activist Anil Galgali by the BEST administration. RTI activist Anil Galgali had sought information from the BEST administration regarding the power cut during the famous hearing of the salman Khan hit and run case. In its reply the BEST's consumer service dept informed that, the power supply to the session court premises was broken on 6th may 2015 for 26 mins from 13.01 to 13.27 hrs.  BEST received a complaint call at 13.10 hrs from phone number 22020218, which was immediately by them. The service had got terminated from the Museum DSS and the service tripped at the Apollo TR no 4, leading to service hampering. The supply was restored from the Apollo TR 4. Salman Khan 's lawyer utilized this lapse of power cut, and secured an interim bail from the Mumbai High court the very  same day.  Had there been no power cut, Salman would not have been successful in securing bail immediately and would have had to spend the night in a lock up stated Galgali, and alleged further that,  had the PWD installed the back up power supply system then the court functioning would not have got hampered. The BEST dept has further informed Anil Galgali that,  it was the duty of the PWD dept to install UPS back up and also a Generator, to ensure a unhindered power supply to the session court premises, which has been ignored by it.  In the past one year,  there was power supply interruption on 4 occasions, that it has proved beneficial for Salman to obtain a bail cannot be ignored. Galgali has stated that, session court is a very important customer for BEST and it cannot ignore the importance of the supply to it, also the spot from where the supply got interrupted was just 100 Mtrs away from its head quarters and it took the BEST administration 26 mins to restore is another matter of concern, stated Galgali.
