Everyone should use the Right to Information Act - Shailesh Gandhi

Former Union Information Commissioner Shailesh Gandhi has said that everyone should exercise the Right to Information Act. The awareness about the Right to Information Act should increase. All sections of the Right to Information Act should be read. Because when using the law, you need to know the law. RTI activist Anil Galgali gave guidance on how and where to use the Right to Information Act. Activists should submit subject wise query while applying for information. So that it is easier for the public information officer to give you the information you are asking for. All the activists should open the website of the Government of Maharashtra and read the government orders issued daily. Only then can you exercise the right to information and rights properly.

RTI activist Bhaskar Prabhu stressed the need for every worker to be aware of all sections of the Right to Information Act. Dr. Sanjay Lakhe Patil informed about the work done on farmers and their problem using RTI. Former Assistant Police Commissioner Vilas Tupe guided the affairs of the police administration. Few people in the police administration cause misunderstandings in public. Tupe informed the activists about how and where certain clauses were used. Workers were provided guidance on various topics. Many people questioned and the speaker's resolved their doubts.

Sudhakar Kashyap, President of the RTI Activist Forum with Santosh Sarvedkar, Ganesh Unale, Anoop Madaye, Rajesh More, Muralidhar Pardeshi, Rajan Pawar, Sufyan Penkar and Ayub Shaikh worked hard to make the program a success.
