RTI activist Anil Galgali wrote a letter Chief Minister Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray, Medical Education Minister Amit Deshmukh, Health minister Rajesh Tope and officials concerned. In letter, explain that the E-tender was issued on March 14, 2020 by Hafkin Bio-Pharmaceutical Corporation (Limited) for the purchase of 10 Automated RNA Purification System machines across the state. Tender opening date March 27, 2020. 15 lakh a estimates amount to one machine and the state of Maharashtra needs 10 such machines.
A machine capable of testing 24 citizens at a time is capable of reporting in 45 minutes. Today, due to non-availability of the report, the entire system stays on for 2 to 3 days and stress is increased due to non-receipt of timely report of information. Galgali alleges that Govt of Maharashtra immediate effect should funds to Hafkin and also pressure to open a Tender and took decision.
Anil Galgali has demanded that Tender should open and decided to purchase the all 10 automated RNA Purification System machines be benefited to people of Maharashtra.
