Revenue and Urban development issues are the largest brought before the government on Lokshahi Divas

For prompt resolution of problems of the common man, the government's have created the system of Lokshahi Divas. This Lokshahi Divas system is implemented at the stages of the Collector, Municipal Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, and the Mantralaya. Recently the 110th Lokshahi Divas was organised at the Mantralaya. And a total of 1505 hearings in totality has been undertaken as per the information provided by the state government to RTI Activist Anil Galgali. Approximately 13 applications are received by the CM in every Lokshahi Divas. In the past 69 months out of the 494 application received, maximum pertained to Revenue, Urban Development, Adivasi Development, Home and Relief & Rehabilitation department.

RTI Activist Anil Galgali had sought information from the state government details of the Lokshahi Divas conducted under the Chairmanship of the CM. Shobha Mahanoor, Desk Officer of the General Administration department informed Galgali that, on the 5th September, 2018 the 110th Lokshahi Divas was organised under the leadership of CM Devendra Fadnavis, and uptill now a total of 1505 applications has been received and heard since inception. The details pertaining from year 2013 which was on record was provided by the GAD to Galgali. Going by the data it can be understood that, in the past 69 months, 494 applications were heard. It can be further understood that on the segregation done division wise it can be found that, the application pertains to different departments have been received, heard by different departments and have issued different orders on the same issue. The top 5 departments are Revenue, Urban Development, Adivasi Development, Home, Relief and Rehabilitation department. There are a total of 88 complaints pertaining to Revenue, 85 to Urban Development, 37 pertaining to Adivasi Development, 34 pertaining to Home, and 22 pertaining to Relief and Rehabilitation department, Thereafter 20 pertaining to Cooperative, Energy department 18, Social Welfare 16, Industry 11, Agriculture 10.

In a statement, Anil Galgali expressed that the applications of people in the Lokshahi Divas has increased and the Revenue and Urban Development Department have the maximum complaints and are the most important departments and hence people are facing maximum problems in issues pertaining to these departments.
