Shiva Jayanti was celebrated in Kurla by 125 Mandal's

Kurlekar decided to celebrate Shiva Jayanti on the same day i.e. Falgun Vadya Tritiya from the year 2019 by announcing that 'Kurlekar together, one Shiva Jayanti is everywhere'. 125 local Mandal's, NGO, political parties in Kurla came together and started marching together. In the year 2019, the year 2020, the procession was taken out in a grand manner. But the Corona crisis in 2021 did not lead to a grand procession. But this year, Kurlekar came together and celebrated Shiva Jayanti with a grand procession. This year's Celebration was something different. Drums, traditional halgi instruments, lezim troupe of Shrikrishna Krida Mandal girls, Shiva-era weapons demonstrations, performers in the guise of Chhatrapati Shivaji and Mavala captured everyone's attention. In this procession, every spot procession welcome By local Resident. A total of 5000 Resident were present in the procession.

In this procession, women in traditional attire performed Shivaraya in the Sarveshwar temple. Deputy Commissioner of Police Pranab Ashok welcomed Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with a garland. On this occasion MLA Mangesh Kudalkar, RTI activist Anil Galgali, former corporator Dr. Anuradha Pednekar, Manoj Nathani, Umesh Gaikwad of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Janmotsav Sohla Samiti, Ganesh Chikne, Dilip Sarate, Bhanudas Gade, Ajay Balu Yadav, Kiran Surve, Kishore Sonawane, Ajay Shukla , Kiran Damle as well as office bearers of all political parties and circles were present. This magnificent procession has created an atmosphere of excitement and elation in Kurlekar.
