Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Lodhivali a 82 beded hospital of Reliance Industries Limited that was a dream come true for it's founder chairman Late Shri Dhirubhai Ambani to serve the community in hours of need. Efforts to get the above redressed have met with resistance at various level however, the relentless battle to save the hospital continues. This is certainly inconsistent with the noble vision of the founder chairman of RIL. He expressed hope that the current generation of leaders take note and set right the state of affairs that Dr.Thakur has unravelled.

He recalled a number of instances where he rendered telephonic advise to the doctors there to treat ans save farmers and tribals from scorpion sting and snake bite. The recent tragic incident of food poisoned deaths at Mahad nearby according to him may have been averted if timely diagnosis and treatment at this facility been rendered rather than the patienrs having to be transferred to far of places. He stressed the need of golden hour while lamenting on the current neglect even of PLHA from Raigad District.
