Implementation of Section 4 will reduce information applications - Anil Galgali 

"Right to Information Day" Organized by BMC P/South Ward Office


Right to Information Activist Anil Galgali expressed a clear opinion that the implementation of Section 4 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 will reduce the number of requests for information. Galgali said that if harmony is established between the applicants and the officials, the quality of service will be improved.

"Right to Information Day" was organized by BMC P/South Ward Office in Goregaon West Ward Office Auditorium. On this occasion, Senior Right to Information Activist Anil Galgali and Right to Information Activist Sharad Yadav gave detailed guidance to all the Public Information Officers and Assistant Public Information Officers of the department and informed them about the judgments made from time to time regarding Right to Information. The program was organized by Assistant Commissioner Sanjay Jadhav. Focusing on the Right to Information Act 2005 along with the Maharashtra Public Records Act, 2005 as well as the Regulation of Transfers of Maharashtra Government Employees and Prevention of Delay in Discharge of Government Duties Act, 2005. In the end, Galgali stated that the number of appeals will decrease and the Bmc will become truly transparent.
