Only 12 out of 39 Ministers of Maharashtra declare there assets and liabilities details

Transparency and Clean Governance were the two major agenda's on which the current BJP have formed the Government in Maharashtra, the anchor of the promotion of this agenda being Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis himself. But in a shocking revelation made by Activist Anil Galgali, Only 12 out of 39 Ministers in the Government have declared their Assets and liabilities details till, given the same is practiced in Narendra Modi lead NDA government and also in Bihar. RTI Activists Anil Galgali had sought information about Assets and liabilities declared by the Cabinet as well as the Ministers of state via RTI to which K.S.Parab, Under Secretary of the General Administration Department (GAD) of the Mantralaya, informed Galgali that In a code of conduct for Ministers drafted by the central government it is compulsory to declare their property and responsibilities statement by every Ministers, though the Supreme Court has ruled to the contrary . The code of conduct mentions that every Minister has to submit to the Chief Minister their property and responsibilities statement. The current Ministry in Maharashtra has 23 Ministers including the CM and 16 Ministers of State . # Only 12 Ministers have complied with the Code of Conduct 12 Ministers including the CM Devendra Fadnavis have complied with the directive and submitted their details of property and responsibilities statement. The CM submitted his details to the Chief Secretary and the 11 Ministers have submitted their details to the CM. The 11 Ministers are Revenue Minister Chandrakant Patil, Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, School Education Minister Vinod Tawde, Housing Minister Prakash Mehta, Industries Minister Subhash Desai, Public Health Minister Ram Shinde, Food & Civil Supplies Minister Girish Bapat, Irrigation Minister Girish Mahajan, Transport Minister Diwakar Raote, Water supply, cleanliness and environment Minister of state Pravin Pote. I had followed up vigorously with the previous government also for making their assets and liabilities detail in. public domain, but those who declared then only there name was made available online instead of Assets and liabilities details, but "Mr Clean " Prithviraj Chavhan was not of the view to make it public, but since this new BJP government's main agenda is Transparency, now even they have refrained themselves from making their Assets and liabilities in public domain" said Galgali. On 14th November 2014, 9th march 2015 & again 28th July 2016 on the basis of the Centre and Bihar governments , Anil Galgali demand to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, to declare all Ministers Assets and liabilities was made online but ever since the application's file is lying pending with the Chief Minister Office since 27th November, 2014 ie 20 months.
