“Reactive Asphalt - Midas Touch” filled pothole in Flat “3 Minutes”

The Municipal Corporation of Mumbai has ever been in news for Potholes. To get rid of Potholes in Mumbai, there is a Remedy by a Technology called as Reactive Asphalt (Midas Touch) by Ecogreen Infrastructure & development Pvt Ltd. Midas Touch from Austria, which had successfully repaired potholes on Santacruz Chembur Link Road filled with rain water in Flat 3 Minutes and the traffic was allowed immediately. In the presence of Chief Engineer (Bridges) S. O. Kori, RTI Activist Anil Galgali and Officers of Bridge Department of MCGM the live Demonstration was done on Santacruz Chembur Link Road. The Company Officers of M/s. Ecogreen Infrastructure and Development Private Limited, filled 3 rain water filled Potholes in flat 9 Minutes without stopping the traffic. The warranty of the potholes is approx 2-3 years. The Reactive Asphalt product (Midas Touch) is costing Rs.130/- per KG and if manufactured in India would cost around Rs.80/- per kg. One sqm of 10mm would require 25kgs of material only. The activist, Mr Anil Galgali is of the opinion that, this technology is very much necessary to make Mumbai Pothole FREE and the Municipal Corporation of Mumbai should be necessarily use this internationally proven Technology “Reactive Asphalt” to get rid of the menace of potholes in Mumbai. Further, Mr. Anil Galgali added that even if we could save few lives of the bikers and Motorist it will be worth to use this technology, as “life is Priceless”.
