Govt, in a letter sent to Swadheen Kshatriya asks, should information about Bungalow be provided on an RTI query?

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra fadnavis is striving to bring about transperency in Maharashtra administration while the General Administration Department headed by him is not ready to follow his directives. Ex CS Swadheen Kshatriya was lately in news about his reluctance to vacate the bungalow allotted to him as Chief Secretary. Anil Galgali ask the information about his Bungalow  through an RTI. Instead to provide information to the query the Govt, in a letter sent to Swadheen Kshatriya asks, should information about Bungalow be provided on an RTI query?

RTI Activist Anil Galgali had exposed earlier to How Swadheen Kshatriya had rented his two flats on a rental of Rs 20 lakhs. He had forwarded  a query to General Administration Department and wanted to know that how could he be allotted the Bungalow Reserved for State's Chief Secretary after Retirement. Shivdas Dhule, the Under Secretary of General Administration Department informed Galgali to pay Rs 166 for a 88 page reply on 28 April 2017

Thereafter Shri Dhule again wrote to Galgali on 2 March 2017 informing him that since this information related  is about third party information and falls under RTI  Act 2005  (clause 11(1) ) therefore Govt ask a NOC from Mr Kshatriya. Till date no information will be provided. Therefore there was no need to pay fees. Mr dhule then wrote to Swadheen Kshatriya and ask that should information about Bungalow be provided on an RTI query? Within 10 days in written or orally.

Mr Galgali termed this as an cover up for irregularities by Government officers to save one of their fraternity. A Government quater is owned by the Authority and will remain their property throughout as this is not a personal one. This govt stands exposed where their claim to transperency by doing everything online. This also exposes the attitude of sycophancy towards retired Bureaucrats. Upset Galgali by Negative stand of Government, now demand to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and ask him to inquire whole episode.
