8 external staff in Maharashtra CMO costs the state Rs 7,69,108 per month

In a complete contrast to the erstwhile DF govt in Maharashtra the current BJP - SS govt has appointed not one but 8 external persons in the CMO which is monthly costing Rs 7,69,108, this information was provided to RTI activist Anil Galgali by the state government. RTI activist Anil Galgali had sought information from the state government about the appointments of 8 external persons as OSD's in the CMO and details about the salaries being paid to them. Initially Galgali was provided with incomplete information prompting him to file an appeal. On the appeal Galgali was provided with the information of names of the persons and salaries being paid to those appointed as OSD's in CMO. The salaries and lum sum amount to totally Rs 7,69,108 /- The OSD's namely Kaustubh Dhawase Rs 1,30,401/-, Ketan Pathak 1,16,154/-, Ravikiran Deshmukh 1,16,154/-, Sumit Wankhede 88,848/-, Priya Khan 88,848/-, Nidhi Kamdar 79,731/-, Abhimanyu Pawar 61,072/-, and Shrikant Bhartiya 87,900. Of these only Shrikant Bhartiya is not being paid monthly lum Sum amount. Anil Galgali expressed his view that, prior to now there was no precedent of appointing external persons as OSD's in CMO, which is putting an load of Rs 7,69,108 monthly on the state exchequer is not resulting in any sort of benefits for the state administration as the external people lack in the necessary experience to handle the work. In a letter addressed to CM Devendra Fadnavis, Galgali has expressed that there is a need performances of the 8 external OSD be evaluated.
