In Vileparle, the Patient friendship dialogue workshop was full of enthusiasm

More than 200 patient friends from Mumbai Metropolitan area participated

On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's 161st birth anniversary Youth Day, under the guidance of K/East Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Assistant Commissioner Manish Valanju, Patient Mitra Association organized a Patient Mitra Sneh Samvad Workshop at Vaishnavi Banquet Hall, Vileparle East. In the presence of Dr. Shailesh Pandey, head of ICMR genetic Research Center, RTI Activist Anil Galgali, Runga Mitra Vinod Sadwilkar, the  workshop started by offering water to the trees giving the message of environmental conservation. More than 200 patient friends from Mumbai metropolitan area participated in this workshop.

RTI Activist Anil Galgali expressed his desire to publish an information booklet for public interest by making the Chief Minister's Medical Aid Room as well as health law study workshop literate under his guidance. Bmc  Department Director Mahesh Narvekar gave information about health management in Corona era. Dr Shailesh Pandey analyzed ICM Arya research and free tests, symptoms of rare diseases, treatment methods.

Apart from this, Poonam Bhovar gave information about the treatment methods, check-ups and camps conducted by the Cancer Patient Aid Association for the needy patients. Praful Pawar gave information about organ donation, transplant abroad. Amol Sawant gave information about blood donation, blood components. Ganesh Pawar and patient Aradhya Pawar appealed to keep in touch if needed help for rare diseases. Dhananjay Pawar instructed to get in touch with charity hospitals (poor and destitute groups) for help and get treatment.

Niranjan Aher and Shraddha Bansode effectively moderated and kept the atmosphere happy by referring the patient friends through various Vkrtva skills. K-East Assistant Commissioner Manish Valanju, Organizer Sandeep Khamkar, Gautam Paikarao, Pankaj Naik, Kiran Girkar, Ramesh Chavan, Charudatta Pavaskar, Harshal Jadhav, Shruti Sadwilkar and K-East Department Health Nurse, Solid Waste Management Department, Andheri-Jogeshwari Police Station representatives and activists of various social organizations affiliated to Mhari Mitra, the patient friend friendship workshop was concluded.
