CM confers 'FREEDOM FIGHTER' status to 52 people from Beed in a single day

The State govt, it seems has thrown caution to the winds, with even the CM ignoring the better sense, this can be simply understood by the Fadnavis Govt's decision to confer FREEDOM FIGHTER status to 88 people of which 52 people from Beed being conferred in a single day itself. This decision is based on treating various Attachment warrant issued to the those persons, as proof of participation in the freedom struggle. This is in complete contravention to the action of the previous govt which had constituted Justice Palkar Commission on recommendation of Hon'ble Supreme Court. The Palkar Commission had rejected the claims of beed district 298 claimants for the Freedom Fighter status on the basis of similar Attachment Warrants . This information was provided to RTI Activist Anil Galgali in reply to his query. The decision of CM will put an additional load of Rs 6.5 crores on the state exchequer. Further this has been done without the approval and recommendation of the District Felicitation committee and the District Collector. RTI Activist Anil Galgali had sought information from the govt on the status of the Freedom Fighters Pension issues. The GAD's Freedom Fighters desk informed Galgali that from 1st January 2015 to 5th June 2015, a total of 88 cases of Freedom fighters pension issues were approved , which comprised of 79 from Beed, 1 from Nanded, & 4 each from Osmanabad and Ahmed nagar. Important to highlight here is that, all the cases were not meeting the criteria finalised by the govt as per its resolution dt 4th July 1995, Also it is similar to the Prabhu Laxman Sanap case in which he had produced two different attachment warrants issued by Patoda and Ashti offices, on enquiry it was found that there were no original records of the warrants in the both offices, hence the claim was rejected by the govt on 25th November 2002. Having this precedent on record, yet the issue was handled dealt with at the Secretary level and approval was sought directly from the CM, bypassing laid down procedures of the dept. On a single day 52 people were conferred as Freedom Fighters alone from Beed district. It is important to state here that Hon'ble Supreme Court had in the past had constituted a commission under Retd Justice A B Palkar to investigate 355 bogus Freedom Fighters cases only from Beed. On investigation by the Commission it was found that 298 of the 355 cases were indeed bogus, acting on the orders the State Govt stopped pensions to these 298 persons of Beed district, who were found bogus now once again the Beed is in lime light as cases similar to the Ashti Attachment warrants, The Secretary level officials secured the CM's approval without seeking approval and recommendation from the District felicitation committee and the District Collector. On the contrary to the CM's action, Minister of State (Home) Ranjit Patil had rejected almost 40-45 of these cases. But the Secretaries sought the direct intervention of CM Fadnavis to secure pension benefits to 88 persons. Anil Galgali in a letter addresssed to CM Devendra Fadnavis, MOS (Home) Ranjit Patil, Chief Secretary Swadheen Kshatriya, & Principal Secretary (GAD) Sumeet Mallik has sought action on the irregularities committed by the GAD. The CM Secretariat in the just sanctioned 88 cases, stating that the irregularities in the cases are grave in nature leading to corruption and hence the said sanctions be revoked and criminal cases be filed against persons responsible for the irregularities. Galgali further expressed surprise on the decision of the CM to grant approval to 52 such cases belonging to the sensitive district like Beed on a single day without taking due caution.

BEST looses revenue for fault of BMC & Traffic dept

In a short sighted approach and to cover up the lapses and poor planning of the MMRDA, the BMC and the Traffic police had closed down a vital right turn at the Kurla end of the SCLR, this has now resulted in a daily loss of Rs 1.79 Lakhs due to excess expenses for the BEST, which bearing the brunt of the fiasco being committed by the 3 agencies, this has been now revealed in a reply to RTI Activist Anil Galgali by the BEST. It has also informed that the BEST is now contemplating a increase in its fare by Rs 4/= to recover the loss. RTI Activist Anil Galgali had sought information from the BEST undertaking, regarding the losses being incurred due to the diversion being forced to undertaken due to the closure of the right turn towards the Kurla station west. In its reply, Shri Abhay Shelar, Asst Depot Manger informed that, the closure of the left turn from the SCLR to Kurla Station has effected the distance and timings of 18 of its regular routes. A total of 1411 trips are undertaken on these 18 routes from this route resulting a extra distance travel of 1834.3 Kms as the diversion has led to increase of distance by 1.3 kms (1411 * 1.3 = 1834.3 kms). The undertaking incurs a cost of Rs 97.72 per km, resulting in a total loss of Rs 1,79,248 =00 on a daily basis ( 97.72 * 1834.3 = 1,79,248). The closure of the left turn towards the Kurla station has effected Bus route nos - 37, 192, 183, 309, 310, 313 Ltd extra, 318, 320, 325, 326, 330, 332, 349, 365, 446 and 15. It has now proposed to the administration for approval to increase the bus fares by Rs 4 each from 121 stops on the routes of the buses playing on the route. It also informed Galgali that, the MMRDA, BMC & the Traffic dept's did not deem it fit to seek its opinion on the closure of the turn, also no suggestions or chance for raising objections was provided to BEST. Anil Galgali, also sought information from the MMRDA about the closure of the left turn. In its reply the MMRDA informed that the SCLR was handed over to the BMC on 2nd May, 2015, hence the information sought, be taken from the BMC. MMRDA also gave a copy of the letter from Traffic dept dt 16th May, 2015, in which it has mentioned that, on the instructions of the BMC, the traffic dept closed the  right turn by installing Cove stones on 6th May 2015, it further mentions that due instructions from the Traffic Officer L Ward, Shri Prataprao Dighavkar and the Addl Commissioner (Eastern Suburbs) , the dividers were installed to ensure the closure of the right turn. It further claims that the steps were taken to ensure smooth and faster traffic movement on the SCLR and the same is very essential. Kurla police in a report send to Bmc,Mmrda and Traffic police on 15 June clearly claim that removal the speed breaker causes a death of women who was hit by unknown vehicle at Hanuman Mandir on 12th June while crossing the road. Kurla police urges to open a right turn towards Kurla Station to maintain the law and order situation in this area.   Anil Galgali has stated that, the action taken by the BMC and the Traffic dept is illegal as no notifications were issued for the same as no proper procedures were followed. This has also resulted in a loss of life of a woman, who met with the accident due to removal of the speed breaker after the closure. The said closure was done without application of mind by the authorities with a short sighted approached and has caused immense inconvenience to the local commuters also leading to loss of lives and daily losses for the BEST dept. In a letter addressed to CM Devendra Fadnavis, Municipal Commissioner Ajoy Mehta and the Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria, Galgali has demanded that the losses of the BEST be recovered from decision making IAS Officer Mr Srinivas, Addl Municipal Commissioner (Eastern Suburbs) and other responsible officers or the BMC and the Police dept compensate the losses of the BEST. He further stated that the manner in which the road closure was executed without issuing any notification exhibits a sense of bravado in the said officers, Galgali further questioned that why this bravado is not exhibited by the same officers in clearing the encroachments and illegal parkings on the CST Road and SG Barve Marg?

पालिका आणि वाहतुक पोलिसांच्या चुकीचा फटका बेस्ट सेवेला

एमएमआरडीए प्रशासनाचे अनियोजनावर पांघरुण घालण्यासाठी पालिका आणि वाहतुक पोलिसांनी सांताक्रूझ-चेंबूर जोडमार्गावरुन कुर्ला स्थानकाकडे जाणारे उजवे वळण बंद करण्याची चूक आता बेस्ट प्रशासनाला भोगावी लागत आहे. पालिका आणि वाहतुक पोलिसांच्या चुकीचा फटका बेस्ट सेवेवर झाला असून दररोज 1.79 लाखांचा अतिरिक्त खर्च होत असल्याची धक्कादायक कबूली आरटीआय कार्यकर्ते अनिल गलगली यांस बेस्ट प्रशासनाने दिली असून 4 रुपये भाडेवाढ करण्याचा प्रस्ताव आहे. आरटीआय कार्यकर्ते अनिल गलगली यांस बेस्ट प्रशासनाला सांताक्रूझ-चेंबूर जोडमार्गावरुन कुर्ला स्थानकाकडे जाणारे उजवे वळण बंद केल्यामुळे होणारे नुकसान बाबत माहिती विचारली होती. बेस्टचे सहाय्यक आगार व्यवस्थापक अभय शेलार यांनी अनिल गलगली यांस कळविले की सांताक्रूझ-चेंबूर जोडमार्गावरुन कुर्ला स्थानकाकडे जाणारे उजवे वळण बंद केल्यामुळे एकूण 18 बसमार्गावर परिणाम झालेला असून दररोज सरासरी 1411 बसफे-या येथून प्रवतित करण्यात येतात. प्रति बसफेरी 1.3 किलोमीटर अंतर वाढलेले असून एकूण 1834.3 ( 1411×1.3 ) किलोमीटर अंतराचा प्रवास वाढलेला आहे. उपक्रमाच्या  बसगाडयांच्या प्रति किलोमीटर प्रवतन खर्च रु 97.72 असा आहे. जो अतिरिक्त 1834.3 किलोमीटर करिता रु 1,79,248  हा अतिरिक्त खर्च दररोज करावा लागत आहे. कुर्ला स्थानकाकडे जाणारे उजवे वळण बंद केल्यामुळे बसमार्ग क्रमांक 37, 192, 183, 309, 310, 313 जादा 318, 320, 325, 326,  330, 332, 349, 365, 446 या 15 बसमार्गाच्या प्रवासमार्गावर एकूण 121 ठिकाणी प्रत्येकी रु 4 भाडेवाढ करण्याचा प्रस्ताव व्यवस्थापनाकडे सादर करण्यात आलेला असल्याची माहिती गलगली यांस देत बेस्ट प्रशासनाने स्पष्ट केले की पालिका, वाहतूक पोलीस आणि एमएमआरडीए यापैकी कोणत्याही आस्थापनाने बेस्ट प्रशासनाबरोबर कोणताही पत्रव्यवहार केलेला नाही ना मत तसेच 'ना हरकत प्रमाणपत्र' याची मागणी केली नाही. आरटीआय कार्यकर्ते अनिल गलगली यांनी एमएमआरडीए प्रशासनास याबाबत माहिती मागताच एमएमआरडीएने स्पष्ट केले आहे की एमएमआरडीएने सदर रस्ता दिनांक 2 मे 2015 रोजी पालिकेस हस्तांतरित केला असल्यामुळे पालिकेशी संपर्क साधावा. एमएमआरडीएने वाहतूक पोलिसांच्या दिनांक 16 मे 2015 रोजीच्या पत्राची प्रत गलगली यांस दिली आहे ज्यात वाहतूक पोलिसांनी पालिकेच्या आदेशावर दिनांक 6 मे 2015 रोजी कव्हस्टोन लावुन उजवे वळण बंद केल्याचा दावा केला आहे. कुर्ला एल विभागाने वाहतूक अधिकारी प्रतापराव दिघावकर आणि अतिरिक्त पालिका अधिकारी पूर्व उपनगरे यांच्या आदेशाने उजवे वळण हे दुभाजक लावून बंद करण्याची माहिती देत पुढे दावा केला की  याबाबत वाहतूक जलद होण्यासाठीचा उपाययोजना म्हणून सदरचे दुभाजक बंद करणे आवश्यक असल्याचे वाहतूक खात्याचे म्हणणे होते. कुर्ला पोलिसांनी दिनांक 15 जून 2015 रोजी पालिका, एमएमआरडीए आणि वाहतूक पोलिसांना पाठविलेल्या अहवालात हनुमान मंदिर येथील स्पीड ब्रेकर काढल्यामुळे 11 जून रोजी एक महिला रस्ता ओलांडत असताना  अज्ञात मोटर वाहनाने ठोकर मारल्याने तिचा मृत्यु झाला असून उजवे वळण खुले करण्याचा पर्याय सुचविला आहे. अनिल गलगली यांनी सदर प्रकार म्हणजे अंगावर ओढावुन घेतलेला चुकीचा निर्णय असल्याचे सांगत यामुळे गरीब महिलेस प्राण गमवावे लागल्याची खंत व्यक्त केली. नियोजन चुकल्याची स्पष्टोक्ती देण्याऐवजी सार्वजनिक वाहतूक व्यवस्थेचे तीन तेरा वाजविणा-या आयएएस अधिकारी श्रीनिवास आणि संबंधित वाहतूक पोलिसांकडून दरमहा होणारा अतिरिक्त खर्च वसूल करावा किंवा दोन्ही खात्याने तो अदा करावा, अशी मागणी अनिल गलगली यांनी मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, पालिका आयुक्त अजोय मेहता आणि पोलिस आयुक्त राकेश मारिया यांस पाठविलेल्या पत्रात केली आहे. विशेष म्हणजे नोटिफिकेशन न काढताच अनधिकृतपणे उजवे वळण बंद करण्याचे धाडस दाखविणारी पालिका आणि वाहतूक पोलीस सीएसटी आणि एसजी बर्वे मार्गावरील अनधिकृत पार्किंग आणि अतिक्रमण काढण्यासाठी कधीच धाडस दाखवित नाही.

बीएमसी और ट्रैफिक पुलिस की गलती का खामियाजा बेस्ट सेवा को

एमएमआरडीए प्रशासन के अनियोजन पर पर्दा ड़ालने के लिए बीएमसी और ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने सांताक्रूज-चेंबूर लिंक रोड़ से कुर्ला स्टेशन की ओर जानेवाला राईट टर्न बंद करने की गलती का खामियाजा अब बेस्ट प्रशासन को भुगतना पड़ रहा है और रोजाना 1.79 लाख का अतिरिक्त खर्च होने की सनसनीखेज जानकारी आरटीआई कार्यकर्ता अनिल गलगली को बेस्ट प्रशासन ने देते हुए स्पष्ट किया है कि 4 रुपए फेयर बढ़ाने का प्रस्ताव है। आरटीआई कार्यकर्ता अनिल गलगली ने बेस्ट प्रशासन को सांताक्रूज-चेंबूर लिंक रोड़ से कुर्ला स्टेशन की ओर जानेवाला राईट टर्न बंद करने से होनेवाले घाटे की जानकारी मांगी थी। बेस्ट के सहायक डेपो मैनेजर अभय शेलार ने अनिल गलगली को बताया कि सांताक्रूज-चेंबूर लिंक रोड़ से  कुर्ला स्टेशन की ओर जानेवाला राईट टर्न बंद करने से कुल 18 बस फेरी पर परिणाम होने से रोजाना 1411 बस को संचालित किया जाता हैं। प्रति बसफेरी 1.3 किलोमीटर अंतर बढ़ने से कुल 1834.3 ( 1411×1.3 ) किलोमीटर अंतर की यात्रा बढ़ गई है। बेस्ट के बसगाडियों के प्रति किलोमीटर संचालन का खर्च रु 97.72 ऐसा है। जो अतिरिक्त 1834.3 किलोमीटर के लिए रु 1,79,248 ये अतिरिक्त खर्च रोज हो रहा है। कुर्ला स्टेशन की ओर जानेवाला राईट टर्न  बंद करने से बसमार्ग क्रमांक 37, 192, 183, 309, 310, 313 अतिरिक्त 318, 320, 325, 326,  330, 332, 349, 365, 446 इन 15 बसमार्ग के यात्रा मार्ग पर कुल 121 स्थानों पर रु 4 किराया बढ़ाने का प्रस्ताव व्यवस्थापन के पास पेश करने की जानकारी गलगली को देते हुए बेस्ट प्रशासन ने स्पष्ट किया है कि बीएमसी, ट्रैफिक पुलिस और एमएमआरडीए इनमें से किसी भी ने बेस्ट प्रशासन से कोई भी पत्रव्यवहार नही किया है। बेस्ट से राय और एनओसी की मांग भी नही की है। आरटीआई कार्यकर्ते अनिल गलगली ने एमएमआरडीए प्रशासन को इस मामले ने जानकारी मांगते ही एमएमआरडीए ने स्पष्ट किया है कि एमएमआरडीएने ये लिंक रोड दिनांक 2 मई 2015 को बीएमसी को हस्तांतरित करने से बीएमसी से संपर्क करे। एमएमआरडीएने ट्रैफिक पुलिस का दिनांक 16 मई 2015 के पत्र की कॉपी गलगली को दे है। जिसमें ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने बीएमसी के आदेश पर दिनांक 6 मई 2015 को कव्हस्टोन लगाकर राईट टर्न बंद करने का दावा किया है। कुर्ला एल विभाग ने ट्रैफिक अधिकारी प्रतापराव दिघावकर और अतिरिक्त आयुक्त,पूर्व उपनगरे के आदेश से राईट टर्न डिवाइडर लगाकर बंद करने की जानकारी देते हुए आगे दावा किया है कि इस मामले में ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने ट्रैफिक की स्पीड बढ़ाने के लिए डिवाइडर बंद करने की जरुरत बताई। कुर्ला पुलिस ने दिनांक 15 जून 2015 को बीएमसी, एमएमआरडीए और ट्रैफिक पुलिस को भेजे हुए रिपोर्ट में हनुमान मंदिर स्थित स्पीड ब्रेकर निकालने से 11 जून को एक महिला रोड क्रॉस करने के दौरान एक गाड़ी ने उड़ाने से उसकी मौत हुई है। पुलिस ने राईट टर्न को शुरु करने पर जोर दिया है। अनिल गलगली ने इसे बेमतलब मुसीबत लेनेवाला गलत फैसला होने की बात बताते हुए इससे गरीब महिला को अपनी जान से हाथ धोने पर दुःख व्यक्त किया। नियोजन गलत होने की स्पष्टोक्ती देने के बजाय पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट सिस्टम को बारह बजानेवाले आईएएस अधिकारी श्रीनिवास और संबंधित ट्रैफिक पुलिस से हर रोज होनेवाला अतिरिक्त खर्च वसूल करे तथा दोनों एजेंसी उसे बेस्ट को अदा करे, ऐसी मांग अनिल गलगली ने मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, बीएमसी आयुक्त अजोय मेहता और पुलिस आयुक्त राकेश मारिया को भेजे हुए पत्र में की हैं। विशेष यानी नोटिफिकेशन निकाले बिना अवैध तरीके से राईट टर्न  बंद करने की हिम्मत जुटानेवाली बीएमसी और ट्रैफिक पुलिस सीएसटी और एसजी बर्वे मार्ग पर स्थित अवैध पार्किंग और अतिक्रमण निकालने की हिम्मत कभी भी नही दिखाती है।

असल्फा से श्रेयस जंक्शन का फासला तय करो सिर्फ 5 मिनट में

अंधेरी घाटकोपर लिंक रोड़ का एक महत्वपूर्ण पड़ाव एमएमआरडीए प्रशासन ने पूर्ण करने से अब असल्फा से श्रेयस जंक्शन ये फासला सिर्फ 5 मिनट में तय हो रहा है। इस रोड़ से ईस्टर्न एक्सप्रेस हाईवे से वेस्टर्न एक्सप्रेस हाईवे इस बीच की ट्रैफिक गतिवान होने की जानकारी आरटीआई कार्यकर्ता अनिल गलगली को एमएमआरडीए प्रशासन ने दी हैं। इसके पहले इसी फासले के लिए 30 से 40 मिनट की बर्बादी होती थी। आरटीआई कार्यकर्ता अनिल गलगली ने एमएमआरडीए प्रशासन से असल्फा से श्रेयस जंक्शन तक जोड़नेवाले लिंक रोड की जानकारी मांगी थी। एमएमआरडीए प्रशासन के कार्यकारी अभियंता प्र. जि. भांगरे ने अनिल गलगली को बताया कि 2.90 किलोमीटर इतनी लंबाई वाले अंधेरी घाटकोपर लिंक रोड का काम 9 हिस्सों में किया गया जिसमें जे पी रोड का काम भी शामिल है। आरबी कदम मार्ग के दक्षिण लाईन के स्टील सुपर स्ट्रक्चर स्थित व्हायाडक्ट का काम और जागृती नगर के समीप शेष बचा स्टील व्हायाडक्ट का काम दिसंबर 2015 तक पूर्ण होना तय माना जा रहा हैं। इन सभी कामों की टेंडर रकम 77.46 करोड़ रुपए थी जो संशोधित होने से 88.43 करोड़ रुपए हुई है। इसमें कुल 10.97 करोड़ रुपए की वृद्धि हुई है। एमएमआरडीए प्रशासन ने 'जैसे है वैसे' है इस पॉलिसी पर ये रोड़ मनपा को हस्तांतरित किया है जिसे स्थानीय जनता द्वारा इस्तेमाल होने की जानकारी एमएमआरडीए प्रशासन ने दी हैं।इस अंधेरी घाटकोपर लिंक रोड़ से एलबीएस और नरसी मेहता मार्ग पर स्थित ट्रैफिक का बोझा कम होने की बात बताते हुए अनिल गलगली ने बताया कि कुछ काम शेष है जबकि अब सर्वोदय हॉस्पिटल मार्गे घाटकोपर स्टेशन की ओर जाने के लिए शॉर्टकट विकल्प उपलब्ध हुआ है। विशेष यानी मेट्रो के निचले हिस्से से ये रोड़ घाटकोपर और जागृती नगर इन मेट्रो स्टेशन को एकदूसरे से जोड़ता हैं।

अंधेरी घाटकोपर जोडरस्त्यावरील एक महत्वाचा टप्पा एमएमआरडीए प्रशासनाने पूर्ण केला असून यामुळे असल्फा ते श्रेयस जंक्शन हे 5 मिनटात पार होत आहे. या मार्गामुळे ईस्टर्न एक्सप्रेस हाईवे ते वेस्टर्न एक्सप्रेस हाईवे या मार्गातील वाहतूक गतिमान होण्याची माहिती आरटीआय कार्यकर्ते अनिल गलगली यांस एमएमआरडीए प्रशासनाने दिली आहे. यापूर्वी इतक्याच अंतरासाठी 30 ते 40 मिनटे वाया जात होती. आरटीआय कार्यकर्ते अनिल गलगली यांनी एमएमआरडीए प्रशासनाकडे असल्फा ते श्रेयस जंक्शन पर्यन्त जोडरस्त्याची माहिती मागितली होती. एमएमआरडीए प्रशासनाचे कार्यकारी अभियंता प्र. जि. भांगरे यांनी अनिल गलगली यांस कळविले की 2.90 किलोमीटर इतकी लांबी असलेला अंधेरी घाटकोपर जोडरस्त्याचे 9 टप्प्यात काम झाले असून आरबी कदम मार्गावरील दक्षिण वाहिन्यातील स्टील सुपर स्ट्रक्चर मधील व्हायाडक्टचे काम आणि जागृती नगर जवळील उर्वरित स्टील व्हायाडक्टचे काम डिसेंबर 2015 अखेर पूर्ण होणे अपेक्षित आहे. या सर्व कामाची निविदा रक्कम 77.46 कोटी रुपये होती जी आता सुधारित झाल्यामुळे 88.43 कोटी रुपये झाली आहे. यामध्ये 10.97 कोटी रुपयांची वाढ झाली आहे. एमएमआरडीए प्रशासनाने जसे आहे तसे या तत्वावर सदर रस्ता पालिकेस हस्तांतरित केला असून स्थानिक नागरिकांकडून वापरण्यात येत असल्याची माहिती एमएमआरडीए प्रशासनाने दिली आहे. या अंधेरी घाटकोपर जोडरस्त्यामुळे एलबीएस आणि नरसी मेहता मार्गावरील वाहतुकीचा ताण कमी झाला असल्याचे सांगत अनिल गलगली यांनी सांगितले की काही काम शिल्लक असून आता सर्वोदय हॉस्पिटल मार्गे घाटकोपर स्टेशन दिशेने जाण्यास शॉर्टकट पर्याय उपलब्ध झाला आहे. विशेष म्हणजे मेट्रोच्या खालच्या भागातील हा रस्ता घाटकोपर आणि जागृती नगर या मेट्रो स्थानकाला एकमेकांशी जोडत आहे.

Now drive down from Asalpha to Shreyas Junction in 5 mins

The work of the important patch of the Andheri Ghatkopar Link Road has been done .by the MMRDA thus enabling commenters to now drive down from Asalpha to Shreyas Junction in Just 5 minutes. The information was provided by MMRDA, In a reply to the RTI filed by RTI Activist Anil Galgali. Commuters have Welcomed this work done by the MMRDA for which otherwise they had to spend nearly 30 to 40 minutes to travel between the said destination. RTI Activist Anil Galgali had questioned the MMRDA via RTI in regards to the work. In reply to the RTI, P G Bhangare,Executive Engineer of MMRDA said that the 2.90 kms stretch Link Roads work was completed in 9 phases. The viaduct work of Super Structure on the RB Kadam Road and the remaining Steel viaduct work near Jagruti Nagar is expected to be completed by December 2015. The cost of the said work was estimated to be 77.46 crores which was raised to 88.43 crores. Nearly 10.97 crores cost was increase. The MMRDA has handover the said road to the Bmc in as it is condition. This Link Road will also be instrumental in traffic control on the Andheri Ghatkoper Link Road from the Narsi Mehta Road and LBS Road. There was some work pending but now there is shortcut road new option heading from Sarvodaya Hospital towards Ghatkoper Station available. Interesting that this Road joint 2 Metro station from Ghatkopar and Jagruti Nagar Station and parallel below the Metro line.
